Just entered Scotland for first time. It is raining but suits the place a bit!
We spent 3 nights in the Lakes District, our longest stop of the trip. Had a cruise on Lake Windermere on Sat arvo with movies at Kendal that night, Toy Story 3, and dinner in the car park at the Old Brewery cinema centre that night.
Yesterday, Sunday, we drove over 2 excellent passes, Honister Pass being the best with a 25% gradient down the other side! The motorhome creaked and groaned but did it quite well.
Lunch on a lakeside then a major climb for Warwick and the girls for spectacular views. Pictures up next time. Lib got a little way up then returned to van but she goes much further than she should, very brave!
Milarrochy Bay for next 2 nights, just north of Glasgow.
In touch again soon.
Hi to all, thanks for emails, we love to hear any news, we get almost none with no tv (loving it!)

2011 now and what a trip we had! Still thinking about it every day. Now it is 2010...and we are off, to Europe. Hong Kong, le Tour de France, Normandie, Paris for Bastille Day, Eurostar to London, motorhome for 33 nights, more London, then home!
